Description

The test is made up of 72 questions written by a board certified behavior analyst for the caregiver of the person (called client) in question.
Each question represents part of the DSM-IV definition and diagnostic criteria for a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder.
Results of the assessment can be easily e-mailed from the app.
This test is for educational purposes only.
It should not be used to diagnose or treat any disorder.
The test is based on the DSM-IV definition of and diagnostic criteria for Autistic Disorder, which specifies that a person must display qualitative impairment in social interaction and communication and display restricted repetitive & stereotyped patterns of behavior and that these disturbances cannot be better accounted for by Rett's Disorder or Childhood Disintegrative Disorder. Please be aware that this assessment is based on the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria for an autism spectrum disorder.
No screening tool or assessment is 100% accurate, therefore the results from this assessment do not ensure whether the client does or does not have an autism spectrum disorder.
